Tomas Leal is the founder/owner of Leal Studios, he has over 25 years experience in the media field as a professional and teaching artist. Leal Studios provides services in photography, videography, and graphic design. Working with local and national organizations as well as businesses such as In-Progress, St. Paul Library's, City of St. Paul, Sundance, TCMA/MELSA, Ninja Sushi, Sweet Chocolat, Pullman's Pub, The Architecture of Change: "Building a Better World" Magazine, Western Insurance, and Open Cities Clinics.
Leal Studios works with countless families, models, and musical artist such as HC Da Chemist from Bone Thugs & Harmony, Nimic Revenue from Def Jam, and Young Buck from G-Unit just to name a few.
Leal Studios partners with Inprogress where Tomas is the studio manager, community liaison, Nexus Program Coordinator and Family Portraits Program Coordinator. The partnership with InProgress leads Leal Studios to work with after school programs and recreational centers through out the metro area providing services in being a teaching artist, teaching video and photography through the art of story telling.
Family Portraits is a program where every first Sunday of each month families get the opportunity to participate and receive a professional free family portrait session.
The Nexus program is a cohorts of artist that receive training and mentorships in the areas of photography, video, and music. For more info contact us.
Leal Studios also has a DBA called Urban Arts that provides art organizations with consultation, curation of art galleries, and events. Tomas is a supporter of the arts in the Twin Cities, paving the way for artist and how the community views art, how the city displays art work and promotes artists with-in the community.
Tomas is part of the Saint Paul Mural Arts Committee, Wheelock Parkway Committee, North End Business Association, Community Shares,
